We meet again!

A great deal has changed for the Brownies since our last entry in the summer. In September, the Brownies returned to having unit meetings. As the group were too large to meet together, we have had to split into two groups with one group meeting using Zoom and the other group meeting outdoors in a safe way taking all necessary precautions. The leaders have been so impressed at how the Brownies got to grips with this new way of meeting, whether at home with new technology or outside learning to put up tents in the rain!

This term has been full of achievements at Brownies. Kingfisher (Harriet) has been hard at work and completed both her Young Leader and Commonwealth Award – an incredible achievement that has shown her dedication and commitment to Girlguiding. We also presented three Brownies with their Brownie Bronze Awards – the third highest award that a Brownie can earn and the first time these awards have been presented in Needingworth. We have also been joined by eleven new Brownies this term, many of whom have joined us from Rainbows but it’s been very encouraging to see girls join us who are brand new to Girlguiding.
