As always, it’s been a busy start to the Autumn term in Needingworth Brownies. After learning about fire safety, we were able to have a spectacular camp fire. We had an amazing time, singing camp songs, toasting marshmallows and making yummy s’mores with chocolate. We then played lots of games in the dark with our torches, which was lots of fun. A huge thank you goes to the Parish Council for giving us permission to have this incredible event.

For the rest of the term we are working on a ‘Vote 100’ badge which celebrates the achievements of the Suffragettes and Suffragists 100 years ago in getting women the vote. As part of this we are looking forward to trying some martial arts, similar to those used by the suffragettes and having an Equalitea Tea Party, just in time for Christmas.
